Simon to its Board of Directors at its January 22nd, 2003 meeting. Simon is currently the CEO of AfterBOT; the appointment takes effect immediately. AfterBOT, an Atlanta based company, is recognized as the market leader in using digital receipt technology to drive top and bottom line growth for the retail industry. Through their innovative ReceiptsPLUSTM technology, an atomic-level marketing database is created, enabling a host of Customer, Marketing and Business Services that enhance operational efficiencies, improve consumer and supplier relationships, and maximize margin and profit opportunities. Simon most recently served as QRS CEO from 1999 - 2001. Prior to the creation of QRS, Simon served in a variety of merchandising, store operations, and information services management positions with Carter Hawley Hale Stores, Inc., at the time a leading general merchandise retailer and subsequently acquired by Federated Department Stores, Inc. Simon received his A.B. degree in Economics from Harvard College and his M.B.A. with Distinction from the Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration.
